A few moments in Glory

If our interpretation of the Bible is correct, we will enjoy our best times with our Lord Jesus Christ!! Guess what, they are the most exciting times when we can meet James, John, Paul, Peter, Thomas, Matthew, Mark, Luke and so on!! I would also be a part of it accompanying Jesus when he comes in glory with clouds! It would really be a pleasant sight

He is my everything!!

YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING

After several days of crying unto the LORD, just like David puts them in Psalms; I sense the spirit of God moving whenever HE becomes my object of focus. Most of the time, I went into his presence complaining the way I was tossed by religious doctrines, asking for more hunger for souls, for healing, to let me know the next step to be done in his ministry and so on - as if my Father(God) cared really less about it!
You know, like sort of reminding him now and then, that I exist. As soon as I realised this wonderful truth, I began to concentrate on HIM alone; I confused myself trying to mix Honey with Grains! Grains represent the spirit of God with which God wants us to be moved rather than by our human weakness and emotions! Pastor Joseph Prince is truly an anointed servant of God to preach the good news of grace and love of the Father revealed in Jesus Christ. Its high time I realised the warmth of God's favour and blessings every moment in my life. What my life was supposed to be in Christ!! Praise the LORD! Hallelujah!!
Putting aside all the thoughts that trouble your mind, whether it be sickness; stress; money related problems; bad relation; evil powers at work in your life; praise God as David did!! Whenever his enemies surrounded him, whenever his soul longed for Gods presence, he simply believed in the name of the LORD! That wrought many miracles in his life and God himself testified that he was a man after his own heart!! What a testimony!! Today, we qualify for every blessing of God in the name of Jesus Christ our righteousness, our peace, our holiness, our wisdom and our sancitification. What more can we ask God, but praise Him with all our heart for all his good deeds!!

Questions in my heart

Oh my Heavenly Father, What a mess have me made of your creations!
When I stand in the streets, its hard to see anything which you created except the blue sky which testify your righteousness;
They converted the bare fields to tar grounds for transportation - increasing vehicle pollution and depleting our protective covering;
People pollute their own bodies indulging in lustful activities, smoking, drinking unaware of your divine purpose for which it was created;
Oh! How you loved to commune with us in our body - how we are blessed to be your holy temple!!
What more can we ask than the creator coming into our hearts to rest with all your Glory and Power!!
What a wretched sinners we are? Yet you loved us so much that you gave your only Begotten son on cross to reconcile us with yourself!
When do we get enlightened in your knowledge? When do we stop fighting over landscapes and property?
When will the hunger and disease end? When will you come back to execute judgement , O righteous God?
How do we understand your ways Almighty Father? When can we enter your most holy presence again?
When do we stop our own conceit and take heed to your words? Lord, come quickly

O all ye religious people, how diligently you pray to God?
How diligently you make offerings and build temples?
How sincerely you claim to love God? How pathetically you chant mantras void of understanding?
O chosen people of God, when will you return to your LORD's ways?
When will you stop walking after the evil imagination of your hearts?
When will you believe the words which proceeds directly from the mouth of God?
How wonderfully the devil has crafted traps to snare people?
How ignorantly we fall into them muddled by man-made doctrines and tailored worship of God?
Are all men saints and proclaim nothing but truth?
Why do we accept everything that is pleasing to our minds without discerning its origin - God or devil?
Don't you know that Devil can disguise himself like the angel of light?
How many more prophets and how many miracles must be done ?
Don't you know that it is an abomination in the sight of the Creator?
When will you realise His side of fury and judgement impending upon us?
How many believe that God is so happy to see man with all the technological progress and scientific advancemtnts?
Did God create the Earth to be rubbished and then mended , atlast leading to irrepairable damage?
When will you stop and listen to the voice of the LORD?
Why have you kept your loving God as a seperate entity accessible only when you need him?
Is that why he created you?

Three things to remember for my lifetime

As I go through this let me point out three Biblical Characters whom God liked very much;what special qualities they had or what made their lives a sweet smelling offering in the sight of God.

1. JOB :

He was the richest person in the Eastern part of the world. God gave him seven sons and three daughters. But suddenly destruction came through his window. Not an ordinary destruction ! Something that can drive a man insane !! He lost all his wealth - three daughters and seven sons. All in a single day!! Imagine the horror that would have befallen his future. It didn't stop with it. He caught terrible skin diseases and developed leprosy.

In this utterly chaotic situation, JOB said something that's pleasing and beyond our imagination.

Job 1:21

21 And he said:

“ Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

Can anyone say like this after losing all our wealth, heirs -- standing in the streets , scratching our skin rotten with disease. What a tremendous FAITH does this chap had on God? This made him pleasing and wonderful in the sight of the Lord!! He restored everything doubly to him and we can read in the closing chapters.

2. DAVID :

David was the eighth son to his father. He did not have intelligence like the rest of his brothers and so was made a shepherd to tend the flock. But his Heavenly Father had totally different plans for him. God sent Samuel(Prophet) to Jesse to select the next King of Israel. Jesse was none other than the father of David. What made him so special ? See for yourself

Psalm 103:1-5

A Psalm of David.

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

It is this praise in his mouth that made him righteous in the eyes of the Lord.

3. PETER :

Peter was one of the twelve apostles of Christ Jesus.

Luke 5:1-11

1 So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, 2 and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. 3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” 6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; 10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.

Did you get the key? What made Peter so liked and a great Apostle ? It was his obedience to the word of God . That is the key behind everything.

The more we obey God's commandment and follow his ways. The more will he bless us. As long as we are in his course, there is no trouble. But when we derail from the wonderful path he has laid out for us, he will definitely chastise us until we fall back on place(Just like a father does).

School of Rock Vs High School Musical Trilogy Vs Moulin Rouge

The Movie which I watched and loved lately :

Oh my God, I could not ask a better Gift than this! Certainly critics don't rate this movie high when compared with Bruce Almighty. But I am quite convinced that this movie will stay in my memories forever. Such a nice movie on God's love, human relations and so on..

Some of the funniest dialogues are : Evan(steve carell) after acknowledging God's love and his commands to build an ark goes through a psychological struggle with this family members. His wife and three kids leave the home leaving Evan to question God's love. Suddenly he asks, "Wouldn't you God ? please , love me less."

When Morgan Freeman(God) speaks to Evan's wife in a cafeteria, those scenes and words of wisdom are celestial and charming. Nothing could replace that part.

It is a must watch, i would give a 9/10 hmmm...

Well I am planning to watch 40 year old virgin too... :-)

The World's Fastest Indian

I happened to watch this wonderful movie named, "The Worlds Fastest Indian." It's about a Newzealand chap's passionate journey of following his heart- building a race bike - all by himself- and making it count in the international motor show held at USA.

His old age(64) or the angina associated with his ageing does not deter his attitude towards the race.The dignity and pride associated with his work makes him oblivous of its outcomed. My perspective has already changed on how I look at people doing mean jobs(meagre wages) around me. I have always pitied them for their destitute situation, and the restricted resources with which they have to ride their life. But now I learn that nothing is mean or rude unless you do it without interest or just for the sake of money. So I urge you all to follow your hearts.When you were created by God, he definitely had a purpose in mind and engraved it in your minds too. When you get a chance to choose between heart and brain, choose wisely.

But the way Burt Munro(Anthony Hopkins) looked on his life was peculiar as well as charming. He didn't even have the luxury of buying tickets to USA -- to exhibit his bike there. But still he kept on working, reminding that God will certainly open a door for him. Then after several hardships, he made it to the place and went to impeccable glory by fulfiling his dream. He recorded the highest speed(201 mph?) ever and that record stands still today (source:Wiki). It was a true story in case you haven't figured it our before.
