I am too indolent to use a hardcover Oxford.So I use a Oxford Advanced Learners compass(computer).It contains most of the words except a few for which I use www.dictionary.com eg.creole(in a context) - refers to rudimentary form of language. Also PIDGIN- basic communicative language used between two different language people.
